Thank you for visiting the the New London Past to Future page. New London is my original band based out of Columbus, Ohio. Read about the past and present of New London, from the beginning in 1985 all the way to the tranformation into The CRAWFORDS.

It all started January 22, 1985. It was unseasonably warm, pushing 70 degrees that afternoon. With the U-Haul packed, pulling out of my Mom's driveway in Grove City, I left the waving corn fields of Ohio in the rear view mirror. I drove off with the window down and headed east to New York City.

Here is the first line up in 1985 playing Jimmy's in Bayside, Queens. The Original members were Mike Pearl on drums, Paul Prescot on bass, Tony Contos on lesd guitar and me. Mike and Paul were two of the first people I jammed with in New York. Mike Pearl knew Tony Contos and New London "the band from New York with the London sound" was born.
