The Crawfords announce the end of a great run.
With out getting to long winded and boring. We have one member that is only a part time resident of Columbus, Ohio now. The band had a great run and it was a blast! We all remain friends and still stay in touch.
Who knows what the future holds.
An interesting mid-paced rock band lead by Kim Crawford. I'm sure she's tried of being compared (favorably) to Chrissie Hynde, but let me add a new one. How about Lucinda Williams? The Crawfords certainly aren't country, but theres that alone-and-weary-woman appeal to both members, or so It felt.
Former R. C. Mob member Carlton Smith is in the band, so you know it's got to be at least fairly good to start with. Guitarist Lance Ellison is a quality player, too. He's a guy who seems to get it, your suppose to serve the song, not the guitar-god worshipers, although I think he could put on a pretty good show of pyrotechnics if he wanted to.
Last but certainly not least, oh lord no is goofball bassist Rik Steenburgh, former crazed Mob roadie. Rik is the polar opposite of Kim. Dressed in Red (probably imitation) lizard skin pants and never once standing upright like a homosapiens, he bounced around like a manic, legs asunder with the most awesomely goofy looks on his face since Jim Carey slid out of the rhinos ass in Ace Ventura. He didn't take away from the show let me tell you.
