



The band features the following performers:
Jack-lead vocals, background vocals, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, harmonica, bass. Jack is one of the original four coyotes. He decided to pick up the guitar one day when he was thirty-something and the rest is history. Coyote Canyon is his first band. He has recorded "So Sad, Too Bad" and "The Country Life" for Coyote Canyon's first CD. He is our great leader, books most the jobs, and talks with the people. Jack enjoys the limelight, talking to his fans, and promoting the band with vigor.
Hallie-Lead Vocals, background vocals, guitar, mandolin, violin, keyboard, and bass. In 1995, with the help of Brickman and a few other talented local musicians, Hallie recorded her first CD of all original music titled "For the Last Time Tonight" at OATH Studios in Columbus, OH. She joined the Coyote Canyon Band after leaving another local cover band in 1997. She has been a lead vocalist for a local southern gospel group as well as the big band, Buckeye Brass. Hallie is one of the main songwriters for the group, and many of her originals are tracks on Coyote Canyon's first CD, "At the Moonglow Cafe". She had the opporutunity to sing in the backup choir for Celine Dion at Polaris Amphitheatre on her 1998 tour. She's a member of ASCAP.
Bass - bass guitar, guitar,vocals.Bass (named because of his low voice, not because he resembles a fish) joined Coyote Canyon in 1997. He has played a variety of music genre. He is exciting to watch on stage and one of the best bassmen you will hear. Bass has listened to country music most of his life. He joined his first band, Buster Gattan and the Outlaws, when he was 20. Since that time, he has been with many different bands, including Loose Cannon who was an opening act for the popular group Blackfoot. The past 15 years, he has played in rock/metal bands that have performed primarily original music, such as Nexxt, The Ruins, Java Head, Apparition, False Hate, Nuclear Fish, and Stronghold.
Brickman-lead vocals, background vocals,lead guitar. The Brickman is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from West Virginia. He performed extensively throughout the late 1950's and 1960's with rock, country, and bluegrass groups on radio broadcasts and on the road. He began playing the guitar at age 14, and by age 15 he was in his first rock/country band. The rest of his teenage years were spent in Oak Hill, West Virginia, where he played WOAY, WWLK, WJLS radio stations for Variety Shows, the Beckley Barn Dance, and the Hometown Jubilee on the bill with Maybelle Carter and the Carters. Brickman also played with Zeke and Slim in his early years. He moved to Ohio at age 20. He quit playing guitar in 1965 and began again in 1990. He met Hallie in 1990, and they played together in a southern gospel group for seven years. During that time he also has appeared with local fames, Oswald and the Herringbones, as well as recording some original tunes under an independent label with a member of Columbia recording artist, Howlin' Maggie under the name Mason and the Bricks. Brickman's mellow vocals and hot guitar licks remind listeners from such famous performers as Johnny Cash to Frank Sinatra.
Sotero Juan- percussion, lead and background vocals. Sotero Juan Gebara is a native from Bryan-College Station, Texas located approximately 90 miles northwest of Houston. Sotero is a self-taught musician. He began playing drums professionally at age 9 with his dad's Tejano group. By the age of 13 he had moved on to performing with 8-piece groups incorporating brass sections doing various music genres from Motown to other Top 40 acts from the mid '60s. Sotero has played, recorded, toured and managed various types of groups from Tejano, Salsa, Country, Classic Rock, Oldies, Top 40, Pop, R&B, Funk, and Jazz. Since his arrival to Columbus, Ohio in 2000, he's played at the Ohio State Fair, Columbus' Red, White, and Boom, New Year's Eve First Night Columbus, The Columbus Jazz Arts Festival, The Blues Station, various local and regional festivals. He has performed with groups such as Larry B and the Real Deal, Silky Ray Macklin, Chief Johnny Lonesome , TM/Express , Pryme Tyme , and CityFolk. In addition to his percussion skills, he is also an avid vocalist in Spanish and English.
